Undeniably, orange is the best colour, but the ultimate question is, which is the best icon to use for an orange button? Based on our own experiment at www.architectural-perspective.com, we discovered that button number 3 is the best. A shopping cart icon with the ‘Buy’ text has the best conversation rate.

The best part is, people stopped asking us where is the buy button or how to purchase the item. Since most of our customers are from none english speaking countries, we suspected the possibility of different cultural interpretation and sensitivity on text like ‘buy’ differently. However, the shopping cart icon is a universal language for ‘click this button to buy’.
In short, the right color together with the right icon translates into higher conversation for the international market.
